Single: Thicka Than A Snicka Debut Album: Due out in 2008
Meech, a fifteen year old MC is about to have the streets talking with his debut single Thicka Than A Snicka.
Born in Minneapolis, he solidified his aggressive performance skills with dozens of shows at the famed hip hop club Red Sea in his hometown starting at the age of just 9 years old. Hes shared the stage opening for acts such as Lil Jon, Ying Yang Twins, Master P, KRS-One and more across the country.
The young phenom was discovered by west coast legend Fingazz (who is executive producing the album and just scored a Top 10 single with Lean Like a Cholo), while Thicka Than A Snicka was produced by Brian Kennedy (Ciara, Jesse McCartney, Menudo). Meech immediately adapted Thicka Than A Snicka as his own, writing the verses and using the phrase with his friends while girl watching in Los Angeles where hes currently living. The song is set to impact at Urban & Rhythmic radio and mix shows across the country beginning in late September.
Meech has recorded over 20 songs to date and is featured on KeKe Palmers single and video for Keep It Movin.
Meech, who counts Nas, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z among his influences, has the MC skills to appeal to an audience beyond his years and still remain relevant to his generation.
